It's an excellent app! Functionality is perfect... I really like that I finally can have my travel diary, photos and even map locations in one place. Edit: It DESPERATELY needs an option to only upload over WiFi or to not automatically sync!! I've accidentally used loads of data because I didn't realise it just starts uploading as soon as I'm connected.

Really great idea for an app - basically combining social media stories and travel blogs, making it easy to look back on memories from your travels. The globe with the steps marked is a great way to visualize it as well. But the app can be a bit slow at times when loading steps, and especially videos.

I've been using Polarsteps for quite a few years now and even got the early adopter sticker. With my new phone, I have better tracking, but there are still a lot of bogus lines with nonexistent connections. Someone told me it's possible to delete these, but I don't have the patience to figure it out. Despite that, I get a lot of positive feedback when sharing my travels with non-Polarsteps users. It's great that they can subscribe, but would be nice if they can give feedback without registration
